The First international Women’s championship in Oman
The International Tent Pegging Federation organized the first International Women’s tent pegging championship in Khasab State at Musandam province, with the participation of six teams during the last of January, the championship succeeded for several reasons, including: the establishment of the first international women’s championship in the world and specifically In Musandam overnorate,where all the obstacles were overcome and managed by the International Federation, as well as the large audience that had came from inside and outside Oman. The South African team achieved the first place in the three-day competition for 20 rounds witha total of 510 points, the second place goes to the Australian team with a total of 460.5 points, where the Omani team achieved the third place with a total of 386.5
