The International Tent Pegging Federation organized the first\u00a0International Women\u2019s tent\u00a0pegging championship in\u00a0Khasab State at Musandam\u00a0province, with the participation\u00a0of six teams during the\u00a0last of January, the championship\u00a0succeeded for several\u00a0reasons, including: the establishment\u00a0of the first international\u00a0women\u2019s championship\u00a0in the world and specifically\u00a0In Musandam\u00a0 overnorate,
where all the obstacles were\u00a0overcome and managed by\u00a0the International Federation,\u00a0as well as the large audience\u00a0that had came from inside\u00a0and outside Oman. The South\u00a0African team achieved the\u00a0first place in the three-day\u00a0competition for 20 rounds with
a total of 510 points, the second\u00a0place goes to the Australian\u00a0team with a total of 460.5\u00a0points, where the Omani team\u00a0achieved the third place with\u00a0a total of 386.5 points, the\u00a0Fourth place was taken by the\u00a0Egyptian team with a total of\u00a0374.5 points, and fifth place
was for the Sudanese team\u00a0with a total of 370.5 points,\u00a0and the sixth place for the Jordanian\u00a0team with a total of\u00a0284 points.\u00a0The closing ceremony was attended\u00a0by His Excellency Khalifa\u00a0Bin Al-Murdas Al Busaidi,\u00a0Governor of Musandam, in the\u00a0presence of Mohamed Bin Issa\u00a0Al-Fairuz, President of International\u00a0Tent Pegging Federation,\u00a0Sayid Munther bin Saif bin\u00a0Hamad Al Busaidi, Chairman of\u00a0the Omani Equestrian Federation,\u00a0number of governors and\u00a0dignitaries, and Excellencies\u00a0members of the State Council
and Shura Council, and members\u00a0of the International Tent\u00a0Pegging Federation.<\/p>\n
